Family BBQ
It was nice to have a day off on Monday. I enjoyed it by going to my parents house for a BBQ. It was great relaxing with family and friends that are as close like family. :)

White Noise
On Saturday, I had to get up early for a nail appointment. But once I back at home, it was nap time. This little fan helps with the noise factor while living in an apartment. I love the fan noise!

PPS&C Friday Breakfast
Every Friday someone at the firm volunteers to bring in breakfast. Yesterday were these yummy scones. No one was even remotely hungry for lunch!

Receipts Everywhere
This is my file folder where I organize all of my receipts. As you can tell, it gets a little out of control sometimes. I save them for awhile in the event I need one. It is very rare for me to throw one away. When I was younger and my mom was still buying my clothes, she embedded in our heads to 1) SAVE THE RECEIPT and 2) Never take off the tags! So I have learned from my mistakes and listened to my mom. I think my brother still struggles though.
However I have also learned that Nordstrom and Macys do not require a receipt anymore! ;) That just shows me I spend a little too much time and $$ there!
I wonder when the day will come when we will not need a receipt at all for anything...
Also it is a good practice to save your receipts and compare them to your bank statement and/or online transactions to make sure the amounts are correct. Especially the ones where you add a tip. Right Roo? Ok I am off my little soapbox...

Roomie Bonding Time
Tonight the roomie and I went to the hot tub at our apartment complex. It was the first time I had been since we moved in and it was very relaxing. I am gonna sleep good tonight. We also made some friends who were enjoying the bubbles and jets...

Temporary Fix
Every morning the sun shines right onto my face since my bed is beneath the window. So I bought a curtain and rod. But I need a special person's help to hang the rod. So this is my temporary fix to see if the curtain helps in the morning! I think it will! So excited!

Happy Mother's Day
Today was a blessed day. Here baby Cash was being held by his mommy. It was her first Mother's Day! And what you can't see is that he was smiling at his gma who was also celebrating her Mother's Day. All around wonderful day. xo

Iron Girl 5k/10k
This morning we took our little sisters to the Iron Girl 5k/10k to volunteer. I picked her up at 6 am and she was ready! Such a good girl! We were in charge of helping pass out flowers and medals at the end of the run/walk. It was sooo crazy. I broke two nails trying to get all the flowers passed out. All the participants were very thankful and was great to see the little sisters volunteering.

More Country
First of all I can't believe we have
finished four full months of Project 365. Amazing! This evening I had my boots on...again! Two weekends in a row is a little too much country music, even for me. The Lakeside Rodeo was a fun place for this $5 concert. Yee haw!

iTrip
So this is a horrible pic but I was trying to capture my iTrip. It plays my iPhone music through my radio. It's very testy and only works part of the time. On Friday morning, it actually worked for me which made my short commute to work that much better!
