Beautifully Simple

I actually thought long and hard all day on the 31st to figure out what I wanted for my last picture of the year. So much has happened throughout the year and yet throughout it all, I am thankful. I have been blessed physically through my diet successes, emotionally with the birth of my nephew, spritually through the Lord, financially through my stable job and personally through the beautiful and simple things in life. As I was choosing my picture, I reflected through the year. It was very refreshing and I am excited for the new year. These New Year themed flowers are refreshing, beautiful and simple to me.

Cookies - On Sale

These ginger bell cookies are one of my favorite new items at Jenny Craig. They are only sold for a limited time so all of my snacks are these cookies. I just had a couple and they were so yummy.

Also as a side note, I went to my weigh in yesterday and I didn't lose but I didn't gain either! It has been two weeks practically on my own because I ran out of food. Plus it was Christmas and I still managed to maintain my weight! Yay!

Birthday Dinner

My brothers birthday is on the 1st so the whole family and some of his friends went out to dinner to celebrate. Good food and great company! I played with Cashton most of the time. He was super hyper and this picture shows that. Isn't he funny? He was moving so fast that my phone couldn't even catch him! Do you see the birthday boy in the background?

Computer in a Box

Roo and I bought new laptops tonight! I converted her to a Macbook by Apple. We are so excited. We are having them transfer all of our information so we actually don't physically get them back yet. It was a Kodak moment having both mom and dad at the Apple store. Dad was quite impressed. I don't know what I would do without these two. They are a major part of my life and I am so thankful to have them as parents. I love them with all of my heart!

Organizing Gifts

Doesn't get any better than this! Orangizing my gifts from Christmas! Now if only I felt better so I could really really enjoy it.

Christmas Rose

Christmas is still visable in my room. Isn't it pretty? I love the pine with the rose. I think Christmas roses might be one of my new favorite things.

Casino Christmas Party

At Life Group tonight, we had our Christmas party - casino style. I didn't win but at least I had some chips left over at the end. We didn't play for money and no one had to buy in! (That was for you PK)

Shopping in the Rain

Today I had a lot of shopping to catch up on. So instead of singing in the rain, I was shopping in the rain. For sure not singing. I don't like getting all wet! And my presents were getting wet. I had a little temper tantrum. Can you imagine that?!

Cookie Baking Time

Today I went to my Grandma's house to bake Christmas cookies for the families. We had great conversation and enjoyed spending time together. Plus everyone loved our cookies! Can you guess which ones these are? Yummy!

Jakes on 6th - Firm Party

Today was our firm party. I ordered stemless wine glasses with our logo on them, secured the location, assisted with the selection of food and wine, gathered baby/senior pictures from all co-workers to display at the party and was a team leader for the activity. Soo much to do but all fun! I think everyone enjoyed themselves. I also helped wrap all of the staff gifts. The partner gifts = hiliarious. I don't think I have pictures of their gifts but if I do, I will post them. My team won the activity and we got Sbux gift cards. Also no one could guess that I was the employee who wanted to learn turn tables to mix music as a DJ at clubs. So I won another gift card. All in all, it was a good afternoon!

I luv decorating

I finally brought some of my Christmas decorations into work for my office. Of course a touch of pink!

Building Party

We had our building party at work today. The lobby was filled with food, drinks and more food. Guess what? I was soo good and stuck to my diet. I did not have one thing! I just went to down with co-workers for fun. :)

DT Luvin

As I was getting gas, I looked up and the famous Holiday Inn off the 5 freeway was right across the street. Ever since I was little, I have wanted to stay in this hotel. It's the circle hotel and that means you are close to downtown, the harbor and the airport. Huh Mommy??

Hot Christmas

Isn't this the cutest picture ever? I had to go see baby Cash because I couldn't while I was sick. We had eighty degree weather but it was snowing in the yard!

Suite Action

Dad bought Roo and I a suite at Loew's in Coronado. We needed some R & R which we did. Loved every minute!

White Sauce

Roo and I went to Miguel's for some much needed Mexician food. I couldn't eat as much as I used to! We didn't even finish one little bowl of the white sauce! Yummy!

First Presents of the Year

I wrapped my first presents tonight! I love love giving presents! But you all know that already huh? xoxo

PTL

I had my Jenny Craig meeting today. It was the best feeling! I lost three pounds which makes my total 31! Praise the Lord! It was all that walking for COTC! :) They have these limited edition cookies. I call them my bells bells!

Deck the Halls

I didn't have time to pull out my Christmas decorations so my roommate used all of hers at the apartment. Time for some Christmas music!

I went home sick from work today. I couldn't breathe or talk... Good thing I picked up this cute tissue box from Target the week before! Can you tell what it is?

Thank You and You and You

We couldn't have successfully put on Christmas on the Corner with everyone who helped, prayed and donated. So blessed!

COTC 2010

What an amazing day! The Lord truly blessed the event in more than I could have imagined. I was a little overwhelmed at first with everyone lining up outside the gates. I barely had time to put my warm clothes on! The live music, the snow, the fire truck, the Marines, the food, the desserts and of course the raffle were all great! One word: Success! All for God and our community - the true reasons! The total estimated count by Big E and PS was over 1,500 people.

And the winner is...

I took that day off so I could help at the church for Christmas on the Corner. I gathered all of the raffle giveaways and wrapped them for the big night! Are they pretty? :)

Christmas is Here

11 pm...yep still at work!

It's first of the month and we stayed at work until were were able to get all of the bills out the door. We need to process everything so we can start our year end reports. We did take a little break and went to a nice dinner. Thanks partners!
