So totally random but I had to sneak this picture. There are these weird people in my apartment complex that think the parking garage is like their garage if they lived in a house. They lay all of their junk out and it's disguesting! I can't stand it. I might say something to the management company. What do you think?

Little Visitor

Cash came and visited me during my lunch break. Gma feed him while I ate my lunch. He loved playing/pounding on my keyboard. I hope he comes to visit again soon!

Veterans Day = To Do List Day

Of course on my day off, I decide to clean and do laundry. What is wrong with me? Actually it was encouraging and motivating. I love getting stuff done!

Mentor Training

The city of San Diego created a network of adults who mentor children and provided a training tonight. It was the first time we met. We discussed some issues we face and how to resolve them. The Big Sister, Big Brother program and YWCA had mentors there as well. It was interesting to hear that other mentors experience the same issues that I do. However they did have an evaluation form and any sort of follow up. I wonder when the next training will be...

It's Fall Time

The smell of pumpkin is now filling the apartment. Random and not a very clear picture but you get the idea.

Catching Up

Tonight I caught up on all of my shows... lots and lots! Gotta love DVR!

Baptism

This afternoon I went to a baptism for my friend's son. It was a Catholic service and it was all in Spanish. Although I could pick out a few words, it was refreshing to simply watch and enjoy everything that was going on.

Cash likes anything cold. I let him play with my soda before I drank it. I babysat him with Gma today.

Ribbon Week

Today was my weigh in at Jenny Craig. I lost another 2 pounds for a total of 26.5! Yay! Slowly but surely. My consultant also measured me for the first after my initial meeting. I lost a total of 12 inches so far. They give you a ribbon that measures the inches you lose. I couldn't decide what to do with it. But I think I like it tied to my keys as a reminder. What do you think?

Today was voting day. It felt good to participate. We went as a family. All four of us at the polls in El Cajon. Go Buchanan's!

Almost here...

I saw these coloring books in the $1 bins at Target. They would be perfect for our Christmas theme at church. I can't believe it is already November. Only two more months of Project 365...
